Tip of the Day – AC

Never too late to start, and today’s tip shows how to fix the AC in the Highlander when it starts blowing hot air. You need a 7/16 inch socket and a torque screwdriver. Both should be in the black plastic socket box which is somewhere on the tool shelf by the back door.   Gently tighten the nut under the knob. ‘Tighten’ means turn ‘clockwise’ and clockwise means the same direction as closing a faucet, except for the hot water faucet over the bathroom sink, which has a reversed stem, or does it? Clockwise also means clockwise if you have a traditional watch. So why don’t we say turn ‘watchwise’? Just fix the @#%$ AC!!!
